Terms & Conditions
1. Travel Documents
You agree to review all travel documents (including itineraries, confirmations, and invoices) for accuracy and
notify us promptly of any discrepancies. The names on your travel documents must match your
government-issued ID or passport exactly. Owlways Wandering is not liable for errors or additional costs
resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
2. Role as Travel Agent
Owlways Wandering acts solely as an agent for the airlines, hotels, cruise lines, car rental agencies, tour
operators, and other suppliers ("Suppliers") in your travel itinerary. We do not own, operate, or control these
Suppliers. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, changes, failures, financial defaults, or denial of
services, including future travel credits. We make no guarantees regarding the financial condition of any
Supplier.
3. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
You acknowledge that travel involves certain risks including but not limited to illness, injury, natural disasters,
terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, and other unforeseen events. Owlways Wandering has no special
knowledge of dangers at destinations and is not liable for personal or property damage resulting from these
risks. We recommend you review destination-specific information at:
- U.S. Department of State: travel.state.gov
- Centers for Disease Control: cdc.gov/travel
By traveling, you voluntarily assume all associated risks and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless
Owlways Wandering, its employees, agents, affiliates, officers, and contractors from all liability for any loss,
injury, or damages arising from your travel.
4. Entry Requirements
You are solely responsible for meeting all passport, visa, vaccination, and health requirements for your
destination and transit points. Requirements may change without notice. Most countries require your passport
to be valid at least six (6) months beyond your travel dates. Entry may be denied for various legal or medical
reasons. Travelers under 18 may require notarized parental consent to travel. Owlways Wandering is not
responsible for denied boarding or entry due to noncompliance.
5. Fees, Payments, and Price Adjustments
Owlways Wandering does not charge additional service fees for our planning or booking services. However,
vendors or travel suppliers may impose taxes, surcharges, resort fees, gratuities, or other costs that are
outside of our control. These charges are your responsibility and may change without notice.
If a Supplier offers a price reduction after booking, we will assist with rebooking if allowed, though rebooking
is not guaranteed and Supplier rules apply. You authorize any applicable charges to your credit or debit card
and agree to pay them.
6. Prohibited Reservation Practices
You agree not to engage in "hidden city," "point beyond," or "back-to-back" ticketing. Such practices violate
airline policies and may lead to itinerary cancellation, loss of frequent flyer points, or additional charges. You
agree to indemnify Owlways Wandering from airline claims resulting from fare violations.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against trip cancellations, medical
emergencies, delays, lost luggage, and COVID-19 disruptions. Owlways Wandering is not an insurance
provider and cannot guarantee coverage for any particular claim. Declining insurance is at your own risk, and
you agree to hold us harmless in the event of a denied claim or uncovered event.
8. Credit Card Payments and Chargebacks
We recommend using a credit card for travel purchases to access protections under the Fair Credit Billing
Act. If Owlways Wandering is the merchant of record, we act solely as a payment facilitator, transmitting
funds to the applicable Supplier. If the Supplier fails to deliver services, your recourse is against the Supplier.
You agree not to initiate a chargeback against Owlways Wandering for Supplier failure.
9. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
Owlways Wandering does not charge any additional service fees for cancellations or changes. However,
modification, cancellation, or rebooking fees may be imposed by the Suppliers, and those costs are your
responsibility. All requests must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to Supplier terms and are not
guaranteed by Owlways Wandering.
10. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Communicate promptly regarding travel changes or concerns
- Review all documentation and terms thoroughly
- Adhere to payment deadlines and entry requirements
11. Claims and Legal Jurisdiction
Any claims against Owlways Wandering must be submitted in writing within 30 days of your trip's completion.
Any legal action must be initiated within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim. You agree that any
disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Charleston County, South Carolina, and you consent to
the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Terms Subject to Change
These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Continued use of our services
constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
